GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The red carpet rolled out for charity, helping Grand Valley moms and babies.
Allen Unique Autos hosted the Annual March of Dimes Signature Chef Gala Saturday night. Hundreds in the valley attended the Hollywood themed event to support the non-profit. It is an exciting year for the Western Slope March of Dimes because this year the gala sold out for the first time.
"Everyone was really excited because last year wasn't where we hoped it would be so this year being sold out was really amazing for us to be able to do that," said Joe Reed, of The Western Slope March of Dimes.
Event organizers hope to raise up to $75,000. The money supports The March of Dimes programs of research, services, education and advocacy.
If you would like to help the cause, the local office for the March of Dimes is always looking for volunteers. They are located at 634 Main Street in Suite 105 and their phone number is 243-0894.
