Medicare 101 classes helps newly eligible residents

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Obamacare is not the only health care option causing confusion for locals. Some older residents who are new to Medicare also have a lot of questions and they got many of those answered today.

R.S.V.P. hosts Medicare 101 classes once a month and the option is available to people who are 65 and older.

People aging into Medicare have a seven month window to get coverage. It starts three months before their 65th birthday and goes through their birthday month and the three months after their birthday.

R.S.V.P. is holding their next Medicare 101 class on November 6th. The event is free and open to the public.
