A fire broke out in an abandoned mobile home near DeBeque.
At around 6 P.M. tonight Plateau Valley Fire responded to reports of flames off of I-70 near mile marker 61.
When crews arrived in scene they found the mobile home and a nearby truck on fire.
Crews had to cut into the roof of the mobile home to vent the smoke.
Nobody was in the mobile home or the truck at the time of the fire.
The mobile home and the truck received significant damage.
Fire crews believe the fire started inside the mobile home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
