GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Monday morning is getting a lot worse for several people involved in crashes due to severely icy bridges around Grand Junction.

As of 7:45 a.m. the 5th Street bridge was re-opened, but traffic is moving slowly. Crashes on the 29 Road bridge and Redlands Parkway bridge have also been reported.

Drivers are warned to take extra precautions when crossing bridges this morning. Reports indicate that most - if not all - of the bridges in the area are extremely icy.

Slick roads and fog settling in have made for treacherous conditions; officials are urging caution as you head out on your Monday morning commute.
