Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – They take an old fashion approach to new look hair styles. This weekend Zen's Salon is celebrating their grand opening.
The salon is partnering with the March of Dimes so hair cuts, from 9 till 1 pm, on Saturday will go for a small donation to March for Babies.
Salon owner Kristina Haws grew up in the valley, and is thrilled to have the chance to give back to the community. "I love this community. Everybody has been so pleasant and so welcoming to me and it's been so much fun, and now to give back to my community that I grew up in I am just honored to do so,” says Haws.
The salon is not your usual salon. It caters to men offering straightedge shaves and cuts. You can also find skin clothing apparel, accessories and boots.
