NIWOT, Colo. (AP) -- Extra security will be in place when Niwot High School reopens following a threat to blow up the school.

Deputies will monitor the school and extra security will be in place on Monday.

One student has been suspended over the threats, which were reported last week.

According to the Denver Post, a message was found in a bathroom stall claiming the school was going to be blown up. Classes were cancelled Friday while the threat was investigated.
