DENVER (AP) -- Police have arrested three people after officers were repeatedly fired upon during a car chase from Castle Rock to the Denver suburb of Parker.

Parker police spokeswoman Dawn Cashman says officers near Castle Rock were shot at when they tried to stop a "suspicious vehicle" early Saturday morning. They were fired upon again after the driver led them on a chase toward Parker.

The Denver Post reports (http://bit.ly/15b7aTR) one officer suffered minor injuries when the suspect vehicle rammed his patrol car. A female suspect also was injured, but her condition has not been released.

The suspects were arrested after ditching the car and fleeing on foot.
