EDWARDS, Colo. One man is dead and three others are seriously injured after a rollover crash near Edwards on Tuesday.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Red Canyon Road and Hillcrest Drive in Edwards early Tuesday morning.

Evidence shows that a 2005 silver Audi Sedan was traveling eastbound on Red Canyon Road when the driver lost control and drove off the road. The vehicle then vaulted over Hillcrest Drive and overturned multiple times, landing near the entrance to the Lake Creek Village apartments.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene, and the three other male occupants - including the suspected driver - were transported to Vail Valley Medical Center. Alcohol and excessive speed are being investigated as contributing factors to the crash, however the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

It appears as though the deceased male was not wearing his seat belt.
