GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Business Incubator Center served up some great advertising for its entrepreneurs Thursday evening. The center's holiday open house showcased many different kinds of businesses, each displaying their best items for potential clients. Organizers say it's a way to support business owners, and to thank the community with a fun party. All kinds of food and wine were served for the crowd, with live music and other expos for visitors to browse through.
"It's a really good turnout, and I think that speaks to the enthusiasm for entrepreneurship in the community. A recession is a really good time to start a business. People are really turning to entrepreneurship as a solution," says Chris Reddin of the Business Incubator Center.
Visitors could bid in a silent auction featuring donated items.
Proceeds benefited the business incubator and its members.
