GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The need for donations is always great this time of year.

Between toy and food drives to giving trees and bell ringing, we don't always think about giving blood this time of year.

Outback steakhouse not only invited the Saint Mary's bloodmobile to set up in front of their restaurant; they also gave their donors a free appetizer.

Bruce Raaum has donated blood every few months for more than 10 years.

“It’s a great thing that you can do for people that need it, particularly around the holidays,” said Raaum.

If you didn’t have the chance to stop by Outback today, the Saint Mary’s blood drive bus will be there again next Saturday.

You can also donate by stopping by the Pavilion, across Saint Mary’s Hospital.
