Grand Junction, Colo (KKCO) --- Colorado Parks and Wildlife organized the "Cast, Blast and Twang" clinic for women to teach them archery, fly fishing and shooting skills.
The purpose of the event is to get women and children more interested in activities that will benefit the outdoors.
Outreach Coordinator, Kathleen Tadvick, said selling licenses are what funds Colorado Parks and Wildlife and she hopes to get women interested in these sports in order for them to purchase licenses and conserve Colorado's wildlife.
