GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Western Colorado's beautiful farms and vineyards will soon be a lot easier to navigate.

Today Palisade broke ground on the new Fruit and Wine Byway Kiosk. By Mid-June drivers and cyclists will have a guide with this "Blueprint of Palisade" pasted on the kiosk located right off of I-70 at Exit 42 and 44.

"They're way finding signs all throughout the town and up on to East Orchard Mesa, we have wrap cards and little brochures that you can find at the Chamber of Commerce," said Cassidee Shull the Executive Director of the Colorado Association of Viticulture and Enology.

Wine season is kicking off and officials are hoping plenty of tourists will come to the town and be able to navigate everything Western Colorado has to offer. Palisade will also have a mobile app and printed maps.
