Parade of Lights in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Crews are putting the finishing touches on the floats at the 30th annual Parade of Lights in Grand Junction.

It takes place Saturday night at 5:00 p.m. in downtown Grand Junction.
Thousands of people are expected to line Main Street to enjoy the 100 lighted floats.

Everyone is invited to visit Main Street starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday where local non profit organizations will be selling holiday goodies and crafts.

There's also entertainment at 12:30 p.m. by local groups including Express Allstars, Defy Gravity, and Absolute Dance.

The city is banning parking on Main Street starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Any cars remaining on along the parade route will be towed to a lot a few blocks away.

You can park on a side street, or the parking garage at 4th and Rood.
