ASPEN, COLO. (AP) -- Pitkin County officials are trying to decide whether to accept money from a billionaire for road improvements.
Billionaire Bill Koch has hired consultants to put together a plan for installing guardrails along a road leading to his home.
Pitkin County Public Works Director Brian Pettet says he expects Koch's consultants to submit a proposal for the project that includes financing.
According to the Aspen Daily News, the county has a five-year, $10 million plan for roadwork that does not include guardrails.
