Police arrest four in attempted burglary
Two juveniles and two 18-year olds are in police custody after an early morning burglary.
The Grand Junction Police Department says they were detained sometime after midnight near North 17th Street and 17th Circle.
Authorities found the suspects fleeing on foot near the residence they attempted to burglarize. Police say two of the four arrested were runaways from Utah.
The owner was home at the time of the burglary, but was never threatened.
The investigation is on-going, and police are not releasing any more information at this time.
