DENVER (AP) -- Authorities were searching the home of the father of a missing 13-year-old Colorado boy, but they say it doesn't mean the parent is a suspect.
La Plata County Sheriff spokesman Dan Bender says authorities are meticulously searching the home Thursday because it's the last place Dylan Redwine was seen before he disappeared Nov. 19.
Bender says the boy's father has previously allowed investigators to search his property in the mountains near Durango in western Colorado. Authorities say they executed a search warrant as part of procedure.
Dylan Redwine was visiting his dad for Thanksgiving. His mother lives in Colorado Springs.
