MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) – Powderhorn Mountain Resort has some sad news for our area’s skiers and snowboarders: opening day has been pushed back.
The Grand Mesa resort will not open on Thursday as planned, but it could open as early as Saturday.
A Powderhorn spokesperson cites a lack of snow as the reason for the delay, but she's hopeful that the snow expected on Wednesday may be enough to open the slopes this weekend.
