Powerball draws big lines at local stores

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – The Powerball lottery has already rolled over 16 consecutive times without a winner, making Wednesday night's drawing worth at least $550 million dollars.

The second-largest payout in US history and a record jackpot for Powerball drew crowds of ticket buyers across the country, as well as here in Grand Junction last night.

Some people told KKCO 11 News that they waited in line for over half an hour to purchase their ticket. While the odds are long, you have no chance without buying a ticket.

And the winning numbers are 5, 16, 22, 23, 29. The power ball is 6.

If there is no winner from the drawing, you will have another chance this Saturday.
