Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – Community members are coming together to do whatever they can to support those who lost everything in an explosion that leveled one house and burned down another.

Primerica began collecting clothing and other household items Tuesday afternoon, and a lot has come in.

So far the business community has been able to donate one truck full of donations, easing the pain a little bit for the victims who lost their home and all their possessions.

"How much support we've had is unreal. It's crazy how much stuff we have in the last 24 hours. Just what we've been given-- it's almost hard to accept it all. Little stuff like soap, notebooks; I don't know why just having something to write down what you’re going to do and pencils has been awesome too," says Aaron Eggiman, whose home was destroyed in the explosion.

An account has been set up for monetary donations through Monument Presbyterian Church. You can also bring donations down to Primerica,1119 N. 1st Street, Suite F, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
