Pumpkin shaped pizza for a Halloween fundraiser

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) A fun Halloween fundraiser was held for Crime Stoppers Wednesday at Nick 'n' Willys Pizza. The pizza shop sold pumpkin-shaped pizza, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to Crime Stoppers. The fundraising event had many activities, games, prizes for the kids, and giveaways.

The Grand Junction fire and police departments even brought out trucks for the kids to see.

"Well, I kind of like dressing up on Halloween, so I thought it would be fun to dress up and come down and get some candy and pizza and stuff,” says Haylee Bivbau, local resident.

The event also served as the wrap-up for the Salvation Army and KEKB's coat drive. So far this drive has brought in over 300 coats. It’s important to note, however, that 129 of those are light coats, so there's still a big need for heavy coats.

You can still make a donation to the coat drive until November 11th. Coats can be taken to all drop off locations or by contacting the Salvation Army.
