Two downtown restaurants closed for remodeling

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – A couple of popular hot spots downtown are closing their doors to re-invest in their restaurants. You'll notice signs up in the windows at both Junction Square and Naggy McGees. The restaurants are temporarily closed so the owners can make a few changes.

These are changes that officials say will add to the downtown experience.

"It's great because it means that people are continuing to grow their business and that they are having sales and success that they can afford to re-invest and keep their product up and all that kind of stuff, so I think it's encouraging from the standpoint of the stability of downtown business," says Harry Weiss, Director of the Downtown Partnership.

Junction Square will be closed until Feb. 4, and Naggy McGees is set to re-open their doors Jan. 28.
