Residents to remove trees and invasive plants

Workers  in the Grand Valley are asked to “Lend a Hand” at Riverbend Park so they can remove Russian Olive Trees and invasive plants today.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Residents in our community will be gathering at Riverbend Park in Palisade to remove Russian Olive Trees and invasive plants along the Colorado River today.

The work will begin at 9:30 this morning. It will be helpful if helpers bring tools such as saws, loppers and chain saws. Helpers are also asked to wear protective clothing and bring heavy duty gloves.
