If you're in need of a haircut, you should wait until Sunday, when proceeds will help a family in need.

Two- year- old Matix Smith was recently diagnosed with leukemia, so to help, Revolution Salon is hosting a cut- a- thon.

This Sunday, the salon will be cutting kids and men's hair all day long for a donation, also offering full blowouts for women.

The salon says it's just their way to give back to the community .

"I think it's pretty important, everything helps, and a couple hundred dollars for gas or for a nicer hotel room I think means a lot," salon owner Meg Marakis said.

If you'd like to donate, the cut- a- thon will be this Sunday. The salon is located at 616 North Avenue.
