River rescue

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Fun on the Colorado River quickly turned into a dangerous situation Monday evening after a group floating down the river crashed into a piling at the 5th St. Bridge.

Twenty-three year-old, Ctormy Taylor of Grand Junction has been missing since approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Crews were unable to locate Taylor and resumed the the search efforts early Tuesday morning until approximately three o'clock in the afternoon.

The Grand junction Fire Department has officially been handed over the search efforts to the Mesa County Sheriff and Search and Rescue.

The Sheriff"s Department plans on sending search boats out everyday for the next couple of weeks in search of the young man.
