GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Rockslide is offering a taste of the Avalon Theatre in a glass.

Rockslide Restaurant and Brewery's head brewer, Zorba Proteau, created a beer called the Avalon Ale to contribute to the Avalon Theatre Foundation's next fundraising goal of $400,000.

"It kind of goes hand in hand. it's surprising how much arts and culture is really thriving downtown and we want to do everything we can to encourage that," Proteau said.

For every pint of Avalon Ale purchased, $1 will be donated to the project.

The Avalon Ale is a hefeweizen, a light German beer with banana and clove flavors made to satisfy all tastebuds.
