GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- A rockslide in Ruby Canyon derails many train travelers' plans for two days.
Amtrak had to cancel its service between Salt Lake City and Denver on Wednesday and Thursday after a rockslide fell onto the tracks near the Colorado-Utah border, according to Amtrak spokesperson Marc Magliari.
The train company had to charter buses to take passengers to Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, Denver and other Colorado stops.
Magliari says Amtrak service should return to normal by Friday morning.
