Rollover crash near Clifton City Market

A man is rushed to the hospital after a rollover crash near the Clifton City Market.

It happened at around 5:30 PM.

KKCO 11 News crews on scene tell us a Klean Kut Service pickup hauling a trailer carrying a large compressor was traveling westbound on I-70 B while a Blazer was traveling eastbound on the highway.

When the two vehicles reached the intersection of 1-70 B and 32 Road the Blazer attempted to make a left hand turn in front of the pickup and collided with the vehicle.

The Blazer rolled over as did the trailer holding the compressor.The pickup remained upright.

The driver of the Blazer had to be extricated from the vehicle and was rushed to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown. There were no other pasengers in the vehicle.

The driver and passenger of the pickup did not appear to have any injuries.

Right now I-70 B is down to one lane in the area and the intersection is closed.
