GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The search was back on Friday morning. 11 News drove by the area that was searched Wednesday for evidence in the disappearance of Paige Birgfeld.
Friday, it was a smaller group of about seven, and they were searching a little to the north of the field off of Logos Court.
The Mesa County Search and Rescue Team was out there looking for clues, along with deputies from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
Wednesday, new developments in the disappearance of Birgfeld sent investigators to an area that was searched in length after her disappearance in 2007.
Not long after the disappearance, dogs were brought in and tracked a scent from where her car was burned out, not too far from where crews were searching today.
