Update: Semi-truck rolls over on I-70

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Update: According to the Colorado State Patrol, a male driver was transported to the hospital for minor injuries. A female passenger also sustained minor injuries.

The incident occurred around 3:19 a.m. on I-70 at mile post 24 Eastbound. Troopers say a semi-truck transporting two trailers rolled into the median, causing temporary lanes closures.

It took crews several hours to clean up the mess. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.


A semi-truck rolled over on I-70 between Grand Junction and Fruita Tuesday morning.

Details are scarce but crews say it will take numerous hours to clean up the mess. As of 9:00 a.m. officials hadn't released information on any injuries sustained in the crash.
