GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) -- Do you or someone you know need a hand to tackle some yard clean up? The fifth annual Sharefest is right around the corner to assist them.
On Saturday April 28 and Sunday April 29 multiple faith based organizations in the Grand Valley will participate in Sharefest 2012.
Sharefest is a weekend where people from all different churches and denominations come together to serve the community of those in need.
If you need help with anything from your windows washed to turning mattresses this is the weekend for you.
“The needs in this valley, they are so great, and the churches have such loving and giving hearts, it's just a real blessing to go out there and be with the people in the community who have needs," says Debe Colby from First Presbyterian Church.
There are no charges and no strings attached if you know someone who could use some help or are in need yourself go to www.gjsharefest.com and submit your need or call 970-778-4880. The dealine for submitting projects is April 1.
