Shooting rampage in Las Vegas leaves five dead

LAS VEGAS, Nev. According to the New York Times two police officers and another person were killed in a shooting rampage on Sunday morning in Las Vegas, the authorities said.

The New York Times says two shooters, one male and one female, opened fire at a restaurant around 11:30 a.m. local time, killing the two officers, the police said.

The supsects fled that scene and went into a nearby Walmart where they fatally shot one other person. Both suspects died there, said Jesse Roybal, a spokesman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told the New York Times Mr. Roybal did not disclose how the shooters were killed.
