UPDATE: Man identified after fatal crash Sunday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. According to the Mesa County Coroner's Office, 34-year-old Grand Junction resident Kevin Luong's death was an accident.

The cause of death was multiple injuries sustained in the crash, and Luong did test positive for alcohol at the time of the accident.

The Grand Junction Police Department responded to the single-vehicle accident that left one man dead at Greenbelt Drive and Redlands Parkway.

Police were dispatched at 3:37 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Luong was driving an Acura when he veered off the roadway and struck a light pole. He was ejected from the vehicle and died later at a local hospital.
