DENVER (AP) -- Snow showers moving across the Colorado mountains are bringing some much-needed moisture.
The National Weather Service says snow will continue Friday morning, with snowfall rates up to half an inch an hour on the Western Slope.
The snowfall comes after more than three weeks of above normal temperatures and drier than normal conditions.
The storm is expected to move across parts of the rest of the state on Saturday and Sunday.
