GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - As the NFL season slowly comes to an end, the fans are not letting up.

Local bars and restaurants are enjoying the extra football business; and fans are happy to be out, cheering on their favorite teams.

Now that the holidays are over, business for restaurants and bars usually slows down a bit.

But with playoffs going on right now, it's helping keep their holiday rush.

"This is the slowest part of the year after the holidays and the January, February time of the year, it does slow down for service industry - this helps a bunch," said Gabe Gonzales, Buffalo Wild Wings bartender.

As busy as it was today, next Saturday will see an even bigger crowd.

"We pack every seat in here whenever the Broncos are on here; whether it’s regular season or in the playoffs," said Gabe Gonzales.

So business is looking good for the next few weeks for sports bars.
