Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – A new natural foods store has sprung up in Grand Junction, and now Sprouts is ready to open its doors Wednesday morning.

At the grand opening, the first 300 people will receive a booklet worth five free sandwiches. Every 25th customer will get a coupon book with free products inside.

Sprouts is known for its large fresh produce section and its unique game, such as ground ostrich and kangaroo. They also receive fresh fish shipments six times a week.

"When you come to our store, you won't see the big aisle 7 or aisle 6 because we're about customer service, so we will take you to the product. Our staff is educated on the product so if you have questions about it, if you [have Celiac disease] and you have questions about a product our staff can talk to you about that product," says Janet Little, director of nutrition for Sprouts.

Sprouts will open its doors at 7 a.m. everyday and close at 10 p.m.
The Grand Junction location employs a little more than 100 people.
