Structure fire forces residents out of building

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A structure fire near 14th and Patterson forced residents to evacuate an apartment building Monday afternoon.

Around 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon reports of a structure fire came through on our scanner.

According to the Grand Junction Fire Department, the fire includes one apartment complex and everyone has been evacuated from the building.
No injuries have been reported and the fire department also managed to save two cats.

As of 5:30 p.m. the blaze was under control.
