Suspect steals backpack from CMU

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Around 9:40 a.m. Monday, October 7, a male subject removed a red and gray Ogio backpack from the ACB building at Colorado Mesa University.

The backpack contained an Asus laptop with a red and gray "Republic of Gamers" logo, a gray TI-84 graphing calculator, an English 111 Book of Essays and prescription drugs.

Video surveillance caught a white male wearing a dark jacket with a white stripe across the chest, a hat, and dark pants steal the backpack.

If you know the identity or location of the subject involved in this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at (970)-241-7867. Informatoin reported to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest can earn you up to $1,000 cash reward and you will remain completely anonymous.
