GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. At around noon on Monday a phone call came in to the Communication Center asking for help and was disconnected.

After numerous attempts to call back, Grand Junction Police were dispatched in an effort to find the cell phone and the caller.

Eventually, they tracked down one juvenile male suspect at Long's Park south. He was detained, arrested, and screened by a Department of Youth Corrections employee. The suspect is currently on probation for previous offenses, and was arrested today on obstruction and false reporting charges.

Deputies have identified a second suspect and are continuing an investigation to find him. The original phone owner is not currently being charged in this hoax incident.
