The Fans in the Stands

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Every year, JUCO brings in fans from all over the Western Slope...parents, grandparents, and children have adopted this tournament as one of their favorite summer traditions.

There's some JUCO veterans that haven't missed a game in over 50 years and lots of new fans that are making their trip to Suplizio.

"My favorite team is Midland Texas because I get to bat boy for them today and I think it's going to be really exciting,” says Jase Satterfield, the bat boy for Midland.

There's a group of twenty or so fans that have been at the tournament together for over 25 years, and they say they feel like they've become family.

JUCO's come a long way but it's maintained a fun family atmosphere that keeps the fans coming back every year.
