FRUITA,Colo. The Fruita farmer’s market is back and many residents and out of town visitors have enjoyed the fresh locally grown produce that the market has to offer.
This year the farmer’s market starts at 8:30am until 12:30pm every Saturday from now through September.
Several vendors say they have noticed people buying a lot more of their products.
"Fruita's always been a good market, but this year it seems like there's more people because Fruita is growing in popularity, and people from in and out of town are coming," said Zay Lopez owner of The Produce Peddler.
There are also a lot more vendors this year compared with previous years and every Saturday the farmer’s market hosts local musicians that play throughout the morning.
The market is located in front of the Fruita Civic Center in downtown Fruita.
