WESTMINSTER, Colo. (AP) -- Authorities investigating the disappearance of a 10-year-old Colorado girl are pursuing tips from five other states.

After news of a possible sighting in Maine spread Wednesday, police in the Denver suburb of Westminster announced they also have tips from Maryland, Texas, Nevada and Wyoming in the disappearance of Jessica Ridgeway.

They didn't release details but have previously said they're looking at whether there's a link between Jessica's disappearance and the abduction of an 11-year-old girl in Cody, Wyo., on Monday. The Wyoming girl was lured into a man's vehicle and released later that day. Investigators are looking for the suspect.

Jessica was last seen Friday after leaving home to meet friends at a park on her way to school.
