ORCHARD MESA, Colo. (KKCO) – How many toys can you fit into an SUV?

Toys for Tots will have the answer after its kickoff this weekend.

The organization is asking residents to help “Fill the Grand West Kia SUV with Toys” at ALCO Discount Store at 2696 Highway 50 in Orchard Mesa.

If you bring a toy from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 2 or 3, you’ll be treated with goodies and hot cider.

Through Dec. 8, Toys for Tots will collect toys, books and stocking stuffers. Volunteers will help distribute the gifts on Dec. 13, 14 and 15 at the old Grand Valley Power building at 2727 Grand Avenue.

Anyone in Mesa County can register for toys online by following the link below under Related Links.

You can also volunteer or serve as a drop-box location by logging onto the website or by calling Penny Miller at 970-200-8971 and Mike Davis at 970-200-8970.
