GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Triple Play Records is thanking its loyal customers for their love of traditional music formats over the past quarter of a century.
The Main Street store has been in business for 26 years, so it's holding its second annual anniversary sale Friday through Sunday with $2 vinyls, CDs and cassette tapes.
"Everyone's discovering that the vinyl sounds better," said Rock Cesario, owner of Triple Play Records. "There really isn't a better sounding format in almost 100 years. They keep trying to reinvent it, but they keep going back to the vinyl and the kids are loving the vinyl and eating it up."
Cesario said business is the best it has been in the store's 26 years despite the digital music age.
