PRICE, Utah (KKCO) - The families of the two men who went missing near Price, Utah, are continuing their frantic search.

Brian Axe and Mark Widegren were last heard from on Saturday night, but have not been seen or heard from since. The men reportedly checked out of work around 4:30 p.m. before beginning their drive down 9 Mile Canyon Road into Price.

According to Stephanie Axe, Brian's sister, the two were last seen in Price when the men reportedly had dinner at Wingers, a restaurant in town. Stephanie says their credit card records show the two then went to a bar in town called the Silver Dollar. Brian's tab was closed at approximately 11:30 p.m.

The last anyone heard from Mark was around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Stephanie says Mark had called his mother to check in and inform her they were watching a game. He informed her he had been paid and would be able to pay his insurance, so the mother did not suspect anything was wrong.

Brian's phone showed data was used last at midnight. Brian's wife Christine Axe says Brian called her from the camp Saturday night and said that he and Mark would be heading out for some fun. Christine says Brian told her he would call on Sunday.

Neither family suspects the men would have disappeared on purpose. Stephanie says Mark had a brain tumor removed in the last year, and as a result, has had to take anti-seizure medicine. Stephanie told KKCO 11 News the families spoke with workers from Mark and Brian's man camp in Carbon County, Utah. It appears Mark took enough anti-seizure medicine to last Friday and Saturday, but did not take any for Sunday. This led the family members to believe the two men expected to return on Sunday.

Both families of the missing men have traveled out to Price, Utah, along with friends. They are currently working with the Grand Junction-based Abby and Jennifer Recovery Foundation.

If anyone is wanting to help in the search efforts, or wants to provide food and water to the volunteers, they can contact Connie with the Abby and Jennifer Recovery Foundation at 970-260-1821.
