Veterans square dance to raise money for the Golden Age Games

Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – The Golden Age Games is for veterans over the age of 55 across the country to compete and socialize together. Each year the games are held in a different U.S. city.

The Grand Junction team is know as C.H.A.M.P.S. It holds different fundraisers throughout the year to help pay for travel costs. One of the fundraising events the team hosts is a square dance. It’s a fun event that gets seniors out and about to dance and socialize.

This year's Golden Age Games to be held in Buffalo, NY. have been postponed. However, the fundraising event will be held as planned in anticipation of when the games resume.
