FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Elderly pet owners are getting help keeping their companions at home in Colorado, where a Colorado State University class pairs aspiring veterinarians and other students with pet owners who need help caring for their animals.

A class called Pets Forever pairs student volunteers with elderly and disabled pet owners who need help keeping their pets at home.

Students walk dogs, clean litter boxes, and drive sick animal to the vet for homebound owners.

It's a chance for Vets-In-Training to care for animals in a home setting. And helps the elderly and disabled keep companion animals, which studies show can prevent depression and even lower hospital admission rates.

This had looked like a promising story when I read the title, but not much here except links that generate pop up ads. What is this, an advertising convention?
