DENVER (AP) Vice President Joe Biden is in Colorado today to view the damage from recent flooding on the front range.
He will also visit with residents who lost their homes and survey recovery efforts.
In the afternoon, the vice president, governor John Hickenlooper, and the administrator of FEMA will update everyone on the rebuilding efforts at a news conference in Greeley.
Seven people have been reported dead due to the floods, and three others are missing and presumed dead.
The Larimer County Sheriff says just 6 people are unaccounted for, and that number has dropped substantially now that phone service is restored.
More than 18,000 homes were damaged or destroyed.
Hundreds of FEMA staff are on the ground assessing the damage and providing assistance.
