Victim in fatal motorcycle accident identified

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) Officials have released the identity of the man who died in a motorcycle accident on the Colorado National Monument Thursday evening.

The Mesa County Coroner's Office says Wayne Priddy, 71, of Euless, TX died Thursday near the upper Serpent's Trail Trailhead. He died of multiple blunt force injuries, his death has been ruled an accident.

Priddy was riding with a group of other motorcyclists touring over the Monument, headed down the east side, when the accident happened.
