GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – About 12 buildings are without water after a water line fails.
City spokesperson Kristin Winn says crews have closed down Orchard Avenue between 28 ¼ and 28 ½ roads due to a 10-inch water line break.
A stretch of concrete on Orchard will have to be cut open to fix the broken line.
According to Winn, it could take until at least 7 p.m. – if not later – to repair.
Avoid the area if possible today.
