GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- The Wendy’s branches on North Avenue, Horizon Drive, U.S. Highway 6 and the location in Clifton came together to donate 10 percent of their profits to the Gustavus family.

The location by Mesa Mall had a line out the door earlier this afternoon, and employees are happy to see the big establishment make big strides.

"I think it's really cool because it’s such a big corporation to see that they can localize and bring it down into a small town like Grand Junction. It’s really cool that they are able and willing to help us out like that, said" Wendy’s Manager Jenna Penn.

Wendy’s estimates that they raised at least $1,000 and wants to thank everyone for helping out.
